How to make a matcha recipe for the perfect cup of tea

Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups fresh matcha leaves 1 cup water 3 Tbsp.

cornstarch 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp.

baking soda 1 Tbsp of ground cinnamon 1 tsp of ground nutmeg 1/8 tsp.

ground cloves 1/3 cup of water 1 Tsp.

ground ginger 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional) Instructions In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients except the water and cornstix.

Blend the matcha and corn stix until a soft paste forms.

Transfer the paste to a tea bag and let it steep for 15 minutes.

In a large pot, add the water, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 more minutes.

Add the ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon and simmer until the ginger is fragrant, then add the sugar.

Simmer for another 10 minutes.

Stir in the cinnamon and let the mixture cool down.

Add water, cornstarchy powder, baking powder and salt.

Simultaneously add the matchas to the tea bag.

Stir until the matchaa are completely dissolved.

Serve hot or cold.
